We are thrilled and deeply grateful to share some exciting news with our community: Meijer has generously donated $10,000 to Empowering Epilepsy in honor of the grand opening of their new store in Richmond Heights, Ohio. This incredible donation was presented during their Family Night Grand Opening Celebration on May 7th, 2025.
A special thank you to Meijer’s store manager, Marcie, and the entire Meijer team for taking the time to visit our headquarters. After learning about the vital work we do in the epilepsy community, they were truly impressed by our mission and chose to support us in such a meaningful way. This donation will go a long way in helping us continue to provide essential services and education for people living with epilepsy and seizures.

Empowering Epilepsy can provide people with epilepsy with a free Patient Education Program to teach them more about their specific diagnosis and treatment plan, and discover how to better share information with their epileptologist.
For those living with epilepsy, this support helps break down the stigma surrounding seizures and provides a platform to gain and share knowledge and experiences.With Meijer's donation, we are able to expand our programs and services, ensuring that people living with epilepsy have the resources they need to live fuller, healthier lives.
