We are thrilled and deeply grateful to share some exciting news with our community: Meijer has generously donated $10,000 to Empowering Epilepsy in honor of the grand opening of their new store in Richmond Heights, Ohio. This incredible donation was presented during their Family Night Grand Opening Celebration on May 7th, 2025.
A special thank you to Meijer’s store manager, Marcie, and the entire Meijer team for taking the time to visit our headquarters. After learning about the vital work we do in the epilepsy community, they were truly impressed by our mission and chose to support us in such a meaningful way. This donation will go a long way in helping us continue to provide essential services and education for people living with epilepsy and seizures.

Leigh Goldie, Executive Director of Empowering Epilepsy, shared her gratitude:"We are so thankful to Meijer for their generous support. This donation not only strengthens our ability to help those living with epilepsy but also sends a message of hope and empowerment to our community. Together, we are helping people take control of their epilepsy journey."
What This Means for Empowering Epilepsy and the Community
The $10,000 donation from Meijer is more than just a financial contribution—it’s a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when businesses come together to support important causes. With this donation, Empowering Epilepsy will be able to further our mission of connecting people with epilepsy to experts, peers, and educational resources.

For those living with epilepsy, this support helps break down the stigma surrounding seizures and provides a platform to gain and share knowledge and experiences. With Meijer's donation, we are able to expand our programs and services, ensuring that people living with epilepsy have the resources they need to live fuller, healthier lives.
Why Meijer Chose Empowering Epilepsy
As part of their Grand Opening celebration, Meijer was looking for nonprofit organizations that make a difference in their local community. We were honored that they chose Empowering Epilepsy as one of their grantees. Meijer’s commitment to supporting causes that uplift and empower individuals aligns perfectly with our mission. We are thrilled to have their backing as we continue our work in supporting people with drug-resistant epilepsy and helping them manage their condition.

The way Meijer supports organizations like Empowering Epilepsy really shows how community donations can make a real difference for people living with health challenges. It reminds me of a school seminar where we discussed how small support programs can create big changes in someone’s daily life. I once had to manage shared expenses for a group project, and I used automated accounting systems UAE to keep everything clear and fair. It helped me stay focused on teamwork instead of confusion, just like organized support helps communities grow stronger.
I read the post about Meijer donating $10,000 during their grand opening to support people living with epilepsy, and it was nice to see how that funding will help provide education and programmes for the community. It reminded me of a time I was overwhelmed with coursework and needed direction, so I used fashion assignment help to stay on track and finish my work properly. It shows how the right kind of support can really uplift people in different situations.
