One of the greatest things you can donate is your time!

Empowering Epilepsy is actively looking for volunteers interested in helping us change the conversation about epilepsy and seizures in a variety of ways. Volunteering at Empowering Epilepsy helps us show more people living with seizures what they can do.

Volunteer Wednesdays - Volunteer with Empowering Epilepsy every Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM in person at Empowering Epilepsy Headquarters.

Join us for a variety of events where we need your help to create positive, lasting memories! Earn required volunteer hours for school or work. ​

How can you get involved with Empowering Epilepsy?

• Volunteer to help run over 30 booths at health and wellness fairs

• Help with Administrative Needs

• Organize Patient Education Folders

• Distribute event flyers and support requests to local businesses

• Assist with mailings 3 - 4 times per year

• Refer Empowering Epilepsy to speak at companies to promote Epilepsy Education

• Share and promote Empowering Epilepsy Program and Event information on Social Media

• Design and create event decorations

• Special Event Volunteers - helping with event set up and clean up, registration, and more

• Organize fundraisers for Empowering Epilepsy in your community

• Join an Event Planning Committee to help with fundraisers, educational programs, and community outreach

• Advocate for epilepsy locally, regionally and nationally by writing letters to elected officials, sharing your story, and helping to get epilepsy recognized as a serious chronic disease.

• Community Educators - helping to better educate people in the general population about epilepsy and seizures.

• Create Cards with words of encouragement for patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit

• Design Empower Bracelets for us to share with Empowering Epilepsy Community Members at events.
